Once fully cured, it achieves high hardness (≥3H), high gloss, superior fullness, and exceptional anti-yellowing performance.

This resin is widely used in high-temperature-resistant coatings, making it ideal for household appliances such as electric rice cookers, ovens, bread makers, irons, range hoods, and gas stoves, as well as for temperature-resistant non-stick coatings and specialty coatings.

Curing Process

  • High-temperature curing:
    • 250℃ for 20 min
    • 270℃ for 15 min
    • 280℃ for 10 min

Product Description

R-3046 polyester-modified silicone resin offers exceptional high-temperature resistance (250–500°C), water repellency, and moisture resistance. It provides excellent electrical insulation, weather resistance, and chemical stability. This resin can air-dry at room temperature and achieves high hardness (≥1H), good fullness, and high gloss after full curing.

Ideal for use in high-temperature coatings, heat-resistant paints, and weatherproof coatings.

Curing Process

  • Air drying at room temperature
  • High-temperature curing:
    • 200℃ for 40 min
    • 250℃ for 20 min (twice)

Polyester Modified Silicone Resin : Guide

Polyester Modified Silicone Resin is widely used in high-temperature coatings, anti-fouling coatings, non-stick coatings, kitchen appliances, and more. It serves as a base resin for various special coatings.

Curing Method:
Self-dries at room temperature. For better hardness, cure at:

  • 220°C for 30 minutes
  • 250°C for 15 minutes
  • 280°C for 10 minutes

Adding 10-15% amino resin improves performance but may cause slight yellowing at high temperatures.
